Matthews' photo ceramic plaques are generally installed using a bronze frame. They may be mounted to a bronze plaque or used independently by installing directly on the mounting surface.

A wall mural, consisting of a grouping of individual tiles, may be installed on virtually any substrate using conventional ceramic tile setting methods.

Frames

Photo Ring

Matte finish, hollow bronze frames that facilitate mounting and conceal the edges of the photo ceramic.
  • Depending upon overall size, the edges of the bronze frame are approximately 1/4" to 3/8" wide.
  • Depth of frame ranges from 3/8" to 9/16", depending upon overall size.
  • Two small metal pins are cast integral into the back of the frame for mounting in holes drilled into a solid surface.

Rectangular Frame

A matte finish, bronze rectangular frame available only for the C3 photo ceramic.
  • 3.75" x 5.1875" overall size of frame.
  • Mechanically fastened to solid surface using machine screws.

Open Frame

A solid bronze, matte finish frame with a solid backing that allows for a small reveal between the photo ceramic and the frame. The frame is mechanically fastened to a solid surface with machine screws.

Covered Frame

A cast bronze, two-piece frame with backplate and cover to protect the photo ceramic insert.
  • Textured cast bronze cover, with a natural sandblasted finish. The cover swivels to protect the photo ceramic insert.
  • Depth of frame ranges between 11/16" to 13/16".
  • Mechanically fasten to surface with machine screws.
