Mattlin synthetic paper tags are ideal in exposure to outdoor weather, along with high temperatures inside factory environments. Mattlin handles and prints similar to paper while offering the strength of plastic. Even after enduring the most punishing conditions, this material retains readability. Mattlin wipes clean, and resists tearing, chemicals and temperature extremes. It has superior impact and curl resistance. You can fold, die cut, sew, rivet, staple, emboss, adhesive coat, grommet, hot stamp and even microwave it! These characteristics make Mattlin perfect for tags subject to rough handling and repeated use.

• Waterproof and resistant to many oils and chemicals
• Can be attached in a variety of ways, including wiring, sewing, stapling, gluing and riveting
• High heat tolerance (human readable in tests up to 385 F/182 C) and microwavable
• Outdoor weather resistance minimum two years
• Outstanding durability—no weak sides, edges won’t tear, dog-ear or crack
• When secured to the product with wire or other fastener, the tag won’t tear during transportation
• FDA approved grades of Mattlin may be used in direct contact with food
• Matthews recommends that buyers confirm product compatibility prior to use with on-site testing

• Surface designed for excellent ink receptivity for silk-screening, offset/litho and flexographic printing in solvent based or water based inks
• Use with industrial thermal-transfer label printers, but test for proper heat setting with resin based ribbon
